CALRegional is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician Lead Instructor to guide students in the phlebotomy program in Rancho Cordova, CA. You will instruct on all aspects of the scope of practice and prepare students for externships, while modeling professional healthcare values.

• Current CPT License.
• 3 years of documented on-the-job experience in a CLIA lab within the last 5 years.
• No teaching experience is required.
• Proficient in all aspects of blood collection: capillary, syringe, vacutainer, butterfly.
• Comfortable speaking to large groups and multi-tasking with strong critical thinking.
• Efficient with computers and technology.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Instructing students in all aspects of the Phlebotomy Technician scope of practice.
• Evaluating, reporting, and recording student performance and progress.
• Prepare students in a 72-hour class to go on to a 40-hour externship in a lab or hospital.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated part‑time Phlebotomy Technician Lead Instructor to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! The Phlebotomy Technician Programs run for 3-12 weeks. Applicants must be available to work the following schedule:

• Location: Rancho Cordova, CA
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday; 1:00 PM- 5:00 PM
