• Phlebotomy training is required.

Responsabilidades

• Collect venous and fingerstick blood specimens from patients of all ages according to policies.
• Train and orient new employees, students, and homecare nurses in proper blood collection procedures.
• Operate and utilize the laboratory computer system for job activities.
• Monitor inventory and orders to maintain adequate supplies.
• Package and transport specimens to appropriate departments for processing.
• Answer calls and respond to workflow changes in a timely manner.
• Ensure 100% correct patient identification throughout procedures.
