Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing joining our team in Decatur, GA as a part-time Phlebotomist. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, accepting specimens for various tests and ensuring accurate data entry and patient care.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, teamwork, and the ability to travel to additional sites when needed. Phlebotomy certification or training is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification.
• 2+ years or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
