Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Waycross, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, administer oral solutions, and verify orders using lab systems. The position is part-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and rotational weekends.

Three years of phlebotomy experience is required, including pediatric and geriatric collections. Certification is preferred; reliable transportation and a valid license are a plus.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience is required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience and accuracy in entering orders.
• Flexible and available including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime where needed.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify test orders and client information using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Handle billing information entry and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep).
• Perform non-patient-facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and participate in training courses timely.
