Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a part-time role in Silver Spring, MD, Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with rotational Saturday.

You will collect specimens, perform processing, data entry, and ensure accurate specimen handling in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.

Pay ranges $23.20–$24.90 per hour. This role supports patient care in a nationally recognized laboratory, with benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, etc.).
• Label, process, and transport specimens as required.
• Perform data entry and verify orders using lab systems.
• Maintain logs and complete training courses on time.
• Assist with inventory, sanitation, and general duties as needed.
