Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a part-time schedule in Dallas, TX (Mon 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Wed & Thu 8:00 AM–5:00 PM). The pay range starts at $22.35 per hour with eligibility for annual performance bonuses.

The role involves specimen collection, data entry, and billing accuracy, plus operating lab systems and maintaining logs and records. Strong attention to detail and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information, collecting payments as required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs in a timely manner.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
