Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist I for a part-time role in Plainview, NY. The Saturday shift runs 6:00 to 12:00, with a pay range of $24.00–$24.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and billing-related tasks, with an emphasis on accuracy and adherence to procedures. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and enter billing info, collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, and prep for transport.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
