Job summary

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. You will perform specimen collection, activate and enter orders, and send orders to appropriate destinations while maintaining courteous patient interactions.

Work hours range 6am–6:30pm, Monday through Friday with weekend urgent care shifts on rotation. A shift differential applies 6pm–6am and on weekends/holidays.

• Great telephone etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection.
• Activate and enter orders.
• Fax or send orders.
• Weekly outreach facility collections.
• Receive outpatient orders and clinic-collected specimens.
