Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI invites applications for a part-time phlebotomist. This 80% FTE role features a 2:45 PM–11:15 PM schedule, four days per week with every third weekend, and on-call shifts. Rotating holidays apply.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of accredited phlebotomy training program with clinical rotation preferred.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages.
• Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
• Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing.
• Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the LIS.
