Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist at our Fort Wayne, IN donation center. You will greet donors, screen new and repeat donors, take vital signs, and record results while ensuring safety and comfort.

The role offers flexible part-time hours (most shifts 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week), with schedule changes communicated in advance. You’ll be part of a mission-driven team that supports patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and participate in changes.
• Work varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
