Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking part-time instructors to teach Philosophy courses (primarily PHIL 102, Introduction to Critical Thinking) across CSN campuses in Clark County. Candidates develop syllabi, deliver college-level instruction, and assess student outcomes.

Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in Philosophy (Ph.D. preferred) with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject. The position offers flexible day, evening, and weekend teaching opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Philosophy (Ph.D. preferred) from a regionally accredited college or university.
• At least 18 graduate credits in Philosophy from a regionally accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level courses in the field.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
• Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
• Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.
