Job summary

CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach Philosophy courses, primarily PHIL 102, Introduction to Critical Thinking, across Clark County campuses. Courses may vary by semester and require developing syllabi and delivering engaging instruction.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in Philosophy (Ph.D. preferred) with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject. Teaching load includes day, evening, and weekend sections to support student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Philosophy with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject.
• Ph.D. preferred.
• Regionally accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level Philosophy courses and develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
• Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County and be available to teach day, evening, and/or weekend courses.
