College of Southern Nevada (CSN) invites applications for Part‑Time Instructor, History – FY 2027. This role focuses on teaching introductory History courses, primarily on‑ground, with potential online opportunities. Instructors may teach across CSN campuses in Clark County and should be ready for day, evening, or weekend assignments.

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught.
• Ph.D. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach college‑level History courses.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
• Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
• Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.
