Overview

College of Southern Nevada is recruiting part‑time instructors to teach Philosophy courses, primarily PHIL102 (Introduction to Critical Thinking). The position carries a full‑time equivalent of 48.8% and will be based at multiple campuses in Clark County.

Responsibilities

• Teach college‑level Philosophy courses.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide an excellent teaching experience, including student advisement, recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development.
• Be available to teach day, evening, and/or weekend courses.

Qualifications
