Central Admixture Pharmacy is hiring a Part time Pharmacy Technician - Sterile IV Compounding in Norcross, GA. The role involves preparing sterile IV medications under supervision, following CAPS policies, and maintaining cleanroom readiness.

You will work a part-time schedule (9am-5:30pm) with weekends, and a salary range of $18.00-$23.00 per hour. Required Georgia license; aseptic training preferred. Company offers benefits and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Aseptic processing training/experience desired; training provided.
• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting in the preparation of sterile IV medications in a 503A compounding pharmacy under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

• Adheres to all CAPS policies and procedures
• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Assists in the setup of the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of compounded sterile solutions, using aseptic technique.
• Performs general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Participates in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepares records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.

• REQUIRED: Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy

Preferred

National Pharmacy Certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT

• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.
• Aseptic processing training/experience desired, training will be provided.
• Schedule: Part time (9am-5:30pm) weekdays and weekends. Holidays/Overtime as needed.
• Salary range is $18.00-$23.00/hr

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
