Job summary

B. Braun CAPS in Norcross, GA is seeking a Pharmacist responsible for preparing compounded sterile products under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and for supervising IV technicians and interns.

You will follow CAPS SOPs, ensure compliance with the State Board of Pharmacy, review orders, resolve discrepancies, support inventory, and participate in quality improvement. Minimum qualifications include a PharmD or bachelor's, with 1+ year experience; 7on/7off schedule; on-site role.

Position Summary

Pharmacist will be responsible for the preparation compounded sterile products using and related activities under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy. Assists in the supervision of IV technicians, interns and other support personnel.

• Adheres to all policies and procedures
• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensures pharmacy compliance with rules and regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy and other regulating agencies.
• Reviews orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing.
• Resolves order discrepancies and problems with customer pharmacy personnel.
• Participates in CAPS Continuous Quality Improvement Program and performs Quality Control functions as assigned.
• Assists in successful pharmacy operation: troubleshooting equipment problems, ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
• May supervise IV Technicians and interns; reviews works for accuracy while ensuring compliance with CAPS SOPs.
