CAPS, part of the B. Braun Group in the U.S., seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist in sterile IV medication preparation in a 503A compounding pharmacy under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

The role emphasizes aseptic technique, adherence to CAPS procedures, and involvement in room setup, equipment, and QA documentation. Part-time schedule with potential overtime as needed; location in Norcross, GA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy required.
• National Pharmacy Certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT preferred.
• Aseptic processing training/experience desired, training will be provided.
• Schedule: Part time (9am-5:30pm) weekdays and weekends. Holidays/Overtime as needed.
• Salary range is $18.00-$23.00/hr

Position Summary

Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting in the preparation of sterile IV medications in a 503A compounding pharmacy under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

• Adheres to all CAPS policies and procedures
• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Assists in the setup of the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of compounded sterile solutions, using aseptic technique.
• Performs general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Participates in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepares records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
