Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support daily operations, ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately, and provide caring customer service to patients and customers at the counter and drive-thru.

The role requires compliance with state board requirements, completion of training, and could involve immunization-related duties where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and customer service.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, patient-focused environment.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by law and training.
• Perform basic inventory activities and help manage medication deliveries.
