Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team across store operations. You will help ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, provide caring patient service, and assist with inventory and immunizations where permitted by law and training.

The role requires compliance with state board requirements, a high school diploma or equivalent, and flexibility for part-time scheduling. Training and certification processes will be completed as per state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• If state board has no minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If no minimum educational requirement is stated, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists in managing and improving patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, personalized patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with basic inventory activities and maintain stock accuracy.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and training.
