Job summary

CVS Health is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacy teams across our Retail locations. Technicians help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and provide compassionate customer service. Training and state licensure requirements apply, with flexible shifts and potential immunization responsibilities.

The role emphasizes SOP adherence, teamwork, and patient-focused care, with opportunities to assist immunizations and offsite clinics where permitted.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state Board of Pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and trained.
• Maintain SOPs and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Complete basic inventory tasks and assist in returns-to-stocks and cycle counts.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover scheduling needs as required.
