Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in our retail stores. You will assist the pharmacy team to fill prescriptions promptly, accurately, and safely while delivering caring service to patients and customers.

You will follow SOPs, participate in training, and may travel to stores within the market to cover shifts as needed, helping maintain a safe, inclusive environment and exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws for pharmacy practice.
• High school diploma or equivalent if state board does not mandate minimum age.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance including nights and weekends.
• Concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Verify prescription information and ensure labeling accuracy for patient safety.
• Perform basic inventory activities and assist with medication deliveries.
• Assist pharmacists in providing vaccines and point‑of‑care services where allowed by law.
• Deliver compassionate patient service at pickup, drive‑thru, and over the phone.
