Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Chicago, IL seeks a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support all pharmacy functions under the supervision of a pharmacist. The role focuses on dispensing prescriptions, clerical tasks, and inventory management within a mental health specialty setting.

Schedule: 20 hours per week on average; open Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm CST. Location: 4423 N. Ravenswood Ave., Chicago, IL 60640. Prior Illinois license required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• PTCB Certification (preferred).
• Immunization certification (preferred).
• 2+ years of pharmacy experience (preferred).
• 1+ years of customer service experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Maintains inventory records in the system.
• Assists pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations and compliance.
