Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician for its mental health pharmacy in Hamilton, OH. The role involves dispensing prescriptions and clerical support under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, with four days weekly and fixed hours.

You will support a coordinated care team serving behavioral health patients, ensuring timely medication access and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Ohio.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.
• Ability to work onsite at 1490 University Blvd. Hamilton, OH.
• Part-time availability: 20 hours per week, Mon-Thu 8:00am-5:00pm and Fri 8:00am-4:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clinic consumers and staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
