Job summary

Upham's Community Care in Boston, MA is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support safe dispensing under a licensed pharmacist. The role includes prescription processing, data entry in Liberty and EPIC, inventory tasks, and patient communication to ensure high-quality pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in a retail/outpatient pharmacy preferred.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with processing, filling, and labeling prescriptions.
• Input and maintain prescription and patient data in Liberty and EPIC.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance representatives.
• Support inventory management and stocking activities.
• Prepare medications for automation systems as assigned.
