Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Part Time Pharmacy Technician in Lincoln, NE. You will dispense prescriptions and handle clerical duties under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Hours are 20 hours weekly with potential to flex up to 40.

Location is 3100 N 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68521. Pay ranges $16–$29 hourly with benefits and opportunities within UnitedHealth Group’s family of companies.

Qualifications

• Nebraska Pharmacy Technician license active and unrestricted.
• National Certification active or able to obtain within 1 year.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under supervision.
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and update inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy functions and comply with federal/state rules.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
