Job summary

CVS Health in Michigan is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our store pharmacy team. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, focusing on safe dispensing, patient interactions, and service excellence.

You will learn SOPs, participate in a training roadmap, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while supporting immunizations and other pharmacy services as available.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or acceptance.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Support immunization and patient care services as directed by licensed pharmacists.
• Follow SOPs and participate in training to understand store, district, and regional operations.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered service and help answer patient questions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with basic dispensing tasks as allowed.
