Kroger in Corbin, KY is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to provide pharmacy services and patient counseling. You will review RX orders, ensure safety and accuracy, and support customers with questions about medications and products in-store.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Graduate of a US school of Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Must have passed the NAPLEX exam.
• Ability to work at various store locations.
• Willingness to travel independently as required.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Help customers feel welcome and assist with product questions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and store personnel.
• Provide drug counseling to patients and prescribers.
• Receive verbal RX orders and document per state/federal laws.
• Fill and label prescription orders accurately.
• Ensure patient safety and legal compliance for RX orders.
• Handle third-party billing processes and customer charges.
• Maintain accurate RX records and inventory control.
• Call prescribers and staff as needed.
• Use RX computer system accurately.
• Monitor controlled substances and record-keeping.
• Promote immunizations to patients and administer safely.
• Participate in clinical activities with training.
• Delegate tasks and supervise associates when needed.
• File prescriptions per regulations.
• Resolve conflicts with customers or staff.
• Run and interpret store reports.
• Oversee department needs in manager's absence.
