Job summary

Kroger Pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist at our Maysville, KY location. You will fulfill prescription needs, counsel patients, and administer vaccines while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.

This role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll maintain inventory, records for controlled substances, and deliver exceptional patient care daily.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in good standing is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with local, state and federal laws (HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and comply with dress standards.
• Develop knowledge of the trade area and competition.
• Maintain inventory, scheduling, and equipment operations.
• Keep records for controlled substances and security.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from sources.
• Use accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits appropriately.
• Maintain record keeping per policies and reports.
