Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is looking for a part-time Pharmacist to join our closed-door pharmacy team in Meridian, Idaho. In this role, you will evaluate medication orders, provide recommendations, and maintain patient profiles in a non-retail environment dedicated to long-term care. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, has a valid state license, and strong clinical judgement. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharm D preferred.
• One year experience in long term care desired.
• Current and valid pharmacist license in Idaho.
• Knowledge of medication safety practices and standards.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness and interactions.
• Provide clinical recommendations to healthcare staff.
• Maintain up-to-date patient profiles.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for support.
• Document all communications in the patient's medical record.
