Job summary

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is hiring a Part-time Staff Pharmacist in Phoenix, AZ. The role includes verifying multidose medication packaging, providing consultations, data entry, and review of therapies in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree.
• Active Arizona pharmacist license (or ability to obtain before starting).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Verify multidose medication packaging and MARs.
• Provide consultations to nurses, prescribers and other healthcare providers.
• Complete accurate pharmacy data entry.
• Review medication therapies, interactions and clinical concerns.
• Administer a variety of injections.
• Participate in medication review committees as needed.
• Work alongside pharmacists and technicians to keep medications accurate and on time.

Neighborhood is now hiring a Part-time Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

Description

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is a 100% employee-owned, closed-door pharmacy specializing in care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs.

The Day-to-Day

• Verify multidose medication packaging and MARs
• Provide consultations to nurses, prescribers and other healthcare providers
• Complete accurate pharmacy data entry
• Review medication therapies, interactions and clinical concerns
• Administer a variety of injections
• Participate in medication review committees as needed
• Work alongside pharmacists and technicians to keep medications accurate and on time
