The position is part-time and Exempt, with responsibilities spanning ingredient preparation, cooking, packaging, batch documentation, and stock management to ensure high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals for pets.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation or clean kitchen environments preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, measure, and prepare raw ingredients according to recipes for pet food products.
• Cook, mix, and package pet food batches with attention to consistency and quality.
• Follow precise recipes and production guidelines to create nutritionally balanced meals for pets.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of raw materials and cooked products.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workspaces for a safe production environment.
• Accurately record batch information and ingredient usage for quality control.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing ingredients and supplies; ensure inventory rotation.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
