Job summary

JustFoodForDogs in Santa Monica is seeking a Nutrition Sales Consultant for a part-time, non-exempt role. You will actively engage with customers and their dogs in-store, offering personalized meal recommendations, and applying product knowledge to support healthy pet diets.

You'll build lasting relationships with pet parents, maintain merchandising standards, handle inventory and POS tasks, and strive to meet sales quotas under the supervision of the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in a retail setting.
• Passion for pet health and nutrition.
• Able to manage multiple customers simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and goal-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers and their dogs in-store and make personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements and other JFFD products.
• Learn and apply pet nutrition knowledge and JFFD product knowledge to influence pet parents to feed JFFD.
• Establish and maintain Customer Relationships; provide quality follow-up and ongoing support for customers.
• Adhere to merchandising standards, housekeeping, inventory management and point of sale policies.
• Follow JFFD policies and procedures, including those for safety, security, POS, etc.
• Meet personal sales quotas, and communicate insights/ideas to General Manager to help Kitchen achieve its target.
