Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking a PET/CT Technologist / Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis in Illinois. This role offers a stable, employee-centered environment with opportunities to work on advanced mobile scanners and serve diverse local communities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N).
• Ability to receive permit to practice(s) as necessary.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with little supervision.
• Pass a pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Perform equipment quality check and adhere to quality assurance guidelines.
• Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring patient confidentiality.
