Job summary

Hancock Regional Hospital in New Palestine, IN is seeking a part-time, on-site Personal Trainer for the New Pal Wellness Center. You will design personalized exercise programs, conduct sessions, and track client progress according to ACSM guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining client records, teaching classes, promoting center programs, handling equipment issues, and delivering exceptional customer service while following hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Creates personalized exercise prescriptions based on health assessments and ACSM guidelines.
• Performs personal training sessions and achieves monthly targets.
• Maintains records of current and former clients (attendance, workouts, payments).
• Follows procedures for equipment issues and logs problems promptly.

Responsibilities

• Teaches educational classes and group exercise sessions as needed.
• Maintains current information on center programs and services and promotes them.
• Responds to emergencies according to facility policy.
• Greets members and guests with world-class customer service.
• Refers clients to other hospital services when appropriate.
• Attends scheduled employee meetings.
• Assumes other duties and projects as assigned.
