Job summary

Lake Superior YMCA in Superior, WI seeks a Part-time Personal Trainer to deliver strength and cardio training in a welcoming setting. You will respond to member needs, promote wellness, and maintain the health and safety standards of the facility.

The role requires CPR/AED/First Aid certifications (60 days from hire) and NASM/ACE/NETA/AFAA/NASM national certification is preferred. Flexible hours and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications required or to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• National certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Delivers strength and cardio training in a safe, engaging environment.
• Builds relationships with members and helps them achieve goals.
• Instructs personal and group sessions including kettlebells, yoga and TRX.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs to meet monthly goals.
• Maintains certifications and enforces safety policies.
