Job summary

Greater Green Bay YMCA, Inc. is seeking a Personal Trainer to support members in reaching fitness and healthy living goals. You will deliver individual or group sessions, create customized training plans, and promote YMCA programs while ensuring safety and professional conduct.

You will collaborate with staff and partners, participate in required trainings within set timelines, and contribute to a community-focused wellness environment across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Certification as a personal trainer from an NCCA-accredited body is required.
• Minimum six months of personal training or wellness coaching experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required within first 60 days of employment.
• Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field preferred.
• YMCA Strength and Conditioning cert & Listen First training required within six months.

Responsibilities

• Build collaborative relationships with members and partners to promote personal training services.
• Deliver individual or group training and consulting sessions at all locations.
• Conduct classes, demos, fitness analyses, or other presentations on-site and with Worksite Wellness partners.
• Create individualized or group training plans.
• Uphold professionalism and safety in all activities.

Skills

NCCA-certified personal trainer

Six months experience

CPR/First Aid certified

Degree in Exercise Physiology (pref)

YMCA Listen First / Model of Influence

Education

Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology (preferred)
