Job summary

Hamann Insurance Group in Katy, Texas is seeking a Part-Time Personal Lines Account Manager to support sales and service for personal lines clients, renewals, and remarketing with major carriers. This on-site role requires handling applications, quoting, and client communication.

You will work with a range of carriers and brokers, providing technical support to Sales Executives, processing changes, renewals, and new business while maintaining high service standards in a casual dress environment.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty license required.
• 3-5 years independent agency experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance sales.
• Experience with Applied EPIC agency management system highly preferred, as well as a comparative rater.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to Sales Executives; analyzes client needs, coverage forms and quotations.
• Pre-qualifies and analyzes prospects’ personal lines coverage needs; prepares quotes and proposals.
• Actively solicits increases in coverage or rounding out accounts through sales to clients at every service contract.
• Completes applications for insurance and has insured sign them; submits to carriers and follows up for quotations.
• Assists clients with renewals, remarkets, and policy changes; informs clients of changes and exclusions.
• Reviews current coverages at each service contract and suggests changes or new markets as needed.
• Processes incoming mail and phone requests; uses agency systems for invoicing and follow-ups.
• Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals using the computerized system.
• Assists with first reports of claims and tracks claim status with carriers.
• Maintains long-term client relationships through effective communication and service.
