Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support seniors in a warm, home-like setting at Parkway Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL. This part-time role offers 1st and 2nd shifts, with pay ranging from $15 to $15.50 per hour.

As a PCA, you will assist with ADLs, provide emotional support, and work closely with a caring team to ensure resident comfort and safety. CPR/BLS certifications are a plus, and paid training is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
