The Diocese of Allentown at Holy Family Villa in Bethlehem is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, active Nurse Aide registry, and current CPR/First Aid certification with training to become Medication Assistant possible.

Flexibility for part-time night shifts, weekends and holidays, and commitment to confidentiality and safety are essential.

Formación

• Must possess a high school diploma, a GED or active registry status.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to read, write and speak English.
• CPR and First Aid, Diabetes Education/Insulin Injection, Medication Administration certification within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting and repositioning.
• Obtain vital signs and report abnormalities to the Nursing Supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and the Diocese of Allentown's code of conduct.
• Transport residents to appointments and assist with meals.
