The Diocese of Allentown's Holy Family Villa in Bethlehem is seeking a Full-time Personal Care Aide to provide routine assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor. The role includes training to become a Medication Technician and supports residents with bathing, grooming, meals, and mobility.

Candidates must meet state requirements, maintain CPR/First Aid, and complete Medication Administration and Diabetes Education training within 6 months.

Formación

• Must possess a high school diploma, a GED certificate, or active registry status on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Required to maintain current CPR and First Aid status.
• Must attend the Medication Administration class and pass within 6 months of hire.
• Must attend the Diabetes Education and Insulin Injection class and become certified within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide routine assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, oral care, repositioning, shaving, nails and hair care, and toileting.
• Order prescribed medications and ensure proper administration with physician orders.
• Attend mandatory in-service programs and maintain direct care worker certification.
• Accompany residents for treatment outside the facility as needed.
• Chart nursing notes reflecting care provided and residents’ responses.
