Job summary

Premier America Credit Union in Texas is seeking a Part-Time Personal Banker II to advise and grow member relationships, helping members achieve their financial goals. The role supports branch goals with a flexible schedule across Monday through Saturday hours.

You will perform Teller duties, process new accounts and loan applications, and promote CU products based on member needs. Strong service, communication, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Track record of outstanding member service.
• Must be able to work a flexible part-time schedule during all branch hours, Monday thru Saturday.
• Demonstrated success meeting and/or exceeding established sales goals.
• Banking experience required.
• Cash Handling experience required.
• Strong “People” skills, comfortable multi-tasking, ability to work independently AND as a member of a team, capable in a relationship focused sales environment.
• A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and retain deep financial relationships with members, to help meet and exceed member and credit union goals.
• Performs Teller and referral functions, opens new accounts and loan applications to building relationships and drive growth and sales opportunities.
• Accurately count cash, checks, and package coins and currency.
• Balance daily transactions and verify that cash totals are correct.
• Promotes, educates, and refers on credit union financial products and services to member in the community based on their needs as determined from member interviews.
• Assumes responsibility for performing a broad variety of Teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, sells cashier's checks with a high degree of accuracy in accordance with CU's policies and procedures, including robbery procedures.
