Job summary

ProSource is seeking a Part Time Permitting Wetland Delineation Specialist to support environmental projects from Minneapolis, MN. The role will primarily be remote, with fieldwork requiring travel within a commutable distance to Minnesota.

You will conduct wetland delineations, prepare permit applications, and coordinate reviews with federal, state, and local agencies. A strong background in environmental science, GIS/GPS, and regulatory compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of related experience in environmental consulting and wetland delineations.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies and GIS/GPS.
• Certified Minnesota Wetland Delineator preferred; Business development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of federal, state and local permit applications for pipelines, power lines, sewer lines and roads.
• Perform wetland delineations for projects using GPS equipment.
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports for review.
• Coordinate environmental reviews with federal, state and local agencies; communicate with clients.

ProSource a leader in the right of way acquisition and relocation industry is searching for a Part Time PermittingWetland Delineation Specialist Headquartered in Minneapolis MN ProSource is poised for expansion and growth and is looking for a motivated Wetland Specialist to add to our team The Wetland Delineation Specialist will work primarily remotely but will need to be located within a commutable distance to Minnesota for field work as needed.

Job Summary

The PermittingWetland Specialist will be responsible for permitting wetland delineations and function assessment investigations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of federal state and local permit applications for various projects such as pipelines power lines sewer lines and roadsPerform wetland delineations for various projects using GPS equipmentAnalyze data and provide technical report preparation and reviewObtain all required environmental data and prepare NEPA documents for agency reviewManage environmental survey crews in preparation for permittingCoordinate environmental reviews with federal state and local agenciesCommunicate with clients and provide progress updatesUtilize extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and permit processesManage project budgets and provide workload planningPrepare construction status reports and environmental compliance reports for various agenciesDemonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills and project management experienceAny other task as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science Biology Engineering or equivalentFive 5 years of related experience in environmental consulting and wetland delineationsExperience working with regulatory agencies and regulations project management Geographical Information System GIS software and Global Positioning System GPS equipmentProficient understanding of principles in geology hydrogeology chemistry and regulatory complianceCertified Minnesota Wetland Delineator preferredBusiness development experience preferredGIS ArcView or AutoCAD experienceExperience with environmental regulatory compliance in various states

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The PermittingWetland Specialist will spend a significant amount of time working remotely using a computer and other standard office equipment The position may also require travel as deemed necessary for wetland delineations sampling etc The job may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time and may involve some light lifting or carrying of documents or equipment.
