Job summary

ProSource seeks a Part-Time Permitting/Wetland Delineation Specialist to support permitting, wetland delineations, and related investigations from a mostly remote setup. The role requires occasional travel to Minnesota for field work.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Biology, or Engineering with 5+ years in environmental consulting, GIS/GPS proficiency, and knowledge of regulatory compliance. Minnesota Wetland Delineator certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting and wetland delineations.
• Experience with regulatory agencies and regulations, project management, GIS software and GPS equipment.
• Solid understanding of geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, and regulatory compliance.
• Certified Minnesota Wetland Delineator preferred.
• Experience with ArcView and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist with federal, state and local permit applications for pipelines, power lines, roads.
• Perform wetland delineations using GPS equipment.
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports.
• Obtain environmental data and prepare NEPA documents.
• Manage environmental survey crews for permitting.
• Coordinate environmental reviews with agencies.
• Communicate with clients and provide progress updates.
• Oversee project budgets and workload planning.
• Prepare construction status and environmental compliance reports.
• Demonstrate leadership and project management.
• Travel for field work as needed.
