Job summary

ProSource Technologies in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Part-Time Permitting/Wetland Delineation Specialist. The role focuses on permitting, wetland delineations, and related investigations, with primary remote work and occasional field duties in Minnesota.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering, or equivalent, 5+ years in environmental consulting and wetlands, GIS/GPS experience, and familiarity with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering, or equivalent.
Five or more years of environmental consulting and wetland delineation experience.
Experience with regulatory agencies and regulations, project management, GIS and GPS.
Proficient understanding of geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of federal, state and local permit applications for pipelines, power lines, sewer lines and roads.
Perform wetland delineations using GPS equipment.
Analyze data and prepare technical reports for review.
Obtain environmental data and prepare NEPA documents for agency review.
Manage environmental survey crews for permitting.
Coordinate environmental reviews with federal, state and local agencies.
Communicate with clients and provide progress updates.
Utilize knowledge of environmental regulations and permit processes.
Manage project budgets and workload planning.
Prepare construction status reports and environmental compliance reports.
