Job summary

Glendale Surgery Center in Glendale, CA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for PreOp and PostOp care in a fast-paced ASC environment that focuses on Orthopedics, Total Joints, and Pain Management. The role involves perioperative nursing care, with a Monday-Friday schedule and no on-call, nights, weekends, or holiday work.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CA Nursing License.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS accredited by AHA.
• 2+ years experience in Pre-Op/PACU; ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation.

• Provide quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in perioperative services for all patient populations.
