Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients before and after surgery and monitor vital signs.
• Explain procedures to patients and families.
• Ensure proper surgical site prep and informed consent.
• Perform venipuncture and blood draws.
• Communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the team.
• Monitor recovery from anesthesia and manage pain.
• Discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Operate designated perioperative equipment.
