Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners’ Banner Surgery Center – Desert in Mesa, AZ is seeking a qualified RN for a part-time role (M-F) with no on-call or weekend shifts. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients across surgical services, ensuring high-quality outcomes and patient safety.

The position requires an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and ideally OR experience. A PALS certification must be obtained within 90 days if pediatrics are involved.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing is required.
• Current RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS within 90 days if pediatrics.
• Minimum one year of licensed RN experience in OR or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and educational needs.
• Formulate and update plan of care in collaboration with the health team.
• Implement care and supervise activities of the health care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care accordingly.
• Document care in the patient record accurately and timely.
• Provide evidence-based nursing practice and participate in education of staff.
