Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Program Instructor in the Outpatient Perinatal Education Department to deliver childbirth education and other new parent topics in person and/or virtual formats within THAA facilities and community sites.

The role is part-time, contingent and non-benefited, with classes typically 5–9pm on weeknights and daytime on weekends; expect 1–2 classes per month, requiring friendly, professional instruction and adherence to confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Formal education/certification/licensure or training directly relevant to perinatal education.
• Documented experience delivering perinatal education.
• Active in continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide education services in a friendly, professional manner.
• Offers a comprehensive overview of information to participants using various modalities.
• Ensure confidentiality of information in learning sessions.
• Provide feedback to leadership on program operation and modifications.
• Assist in program evaluation and identifying future needs.
• Support promotional efforts of educational curriculum offerings.
