Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking a part-time Program Instructor for the Outpatient Perinatal Education Department to provide education services in the community, work sites, and Trinity Health Ann Arbor (THAA) facilities as sponsored by THAA.

Instruction covers Childbirth Education Training and other New Parent topics on weekdays and weekends, with in-person and/or virtual sessions generally 5–8 pm or 6–9 pm on weeknights and 9 am–1 pm on weekends. Expect 1–2 classes per month.

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certification or training directly relevant to perinatal education.
  • Documented experience and training in the delivery of perinatal education; active continuing education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide education services in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Offers a comprehensive overview of information to all participants using various modalities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information in learning sessions.
  • Provide feedback to leadership regarding program operation, design, and modification as needed.
  • Assist in program evaluation and identify future program needs.
  • Actively support promotional efforts of educational curriculum offerings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
