Qualifications

• Two (2) years of clinical and/or adult education experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: B.S./B.A. in Education or related field; national certification in area of expertise.
• Preferred: Certified as an AHA BLS instructor or must become certified within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes a systematic approach to assess learning needs and expectations.
• Plans and organizes tour materials and content per curriculum and learner needs.
• Creates an environment that enhances learning and promotes positive staff interactions.
• Delivers information using adult learning principles with a non-judgmental attitude.
• Promotes safety during tours and anticipated stay.
• Evaluates participant comprehension and adapts instructional approaches.
